Juggling
I’m juggling a lot on my plate these days. Right now I’m at the library almost finished with my first Nursing Care Plan. I was here yesterday too, the whole morning until after 3 pm. Tomorrow I’ll be gone from 6a to 6p at my clinical rotation. I miss my daughter. Such is the life of a student mother.
Aside from school, I’m also trying to work out regularly. I still feel twinges of guilt when I leave Mina for 3 hrs. a week so I can get some much needed cardio, strenght-training and most importantly, de-stresser. But I keep going. I don’t want the twinges of pain in my back to get worse, and I don’t want to get pregnant (not yet, not now but next year hopefully) with my body out of shape. It’ll take much longer to recover from a pregnancy when I’m not in shape, as well as being older.
The third plate I’m juggling is the desire to finish this book I’m writing. Yes, even with all that I’m already dealing with, I still haven’t given up on writing. I write a chapter a week a month and at this rate, I’ll finish in 40 yrs…
But still I keep going. I WILL finish this thing.
And despite all that I’m juggling I still find time to watch TV shows and blog. I want to chuck this laptop into the bin (I watch most shows on my laptop) and never see it again! Arrggh! Time suck!
Ignore me. I’m going a little crazy.

Wow 6 AM to 6 PM? That’s killer. I am so with you with this working out thing. I want to be in good shape when we try for the 2nd one again next year. I really s hould start going 3x a week but for now, I go twice a week and walk in the evenings when I come back from work.
For some reason when I do sit ups these days, I get major cramps! My chiro said it’s because I have a weak core. *sigh* It’s getting better but I want them to go away!

One professor told me once in nursing school if you want something done, give it to a busy mommy, somewhat true. We know how to balance our busy life and still have time for fun. It will be over soon
